VERD (joinverd.com) is operated by WAI Systems LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “VERD” mean WAI Systems LLC, which is responsible for the personal data described below. You can reach us at support@joinverd.com.
You give us: your name, email address and profile details when you create an account. If you subscribe to a creator, Stripe collects your payment details directly — card numbers never reach our servers. If you connect Discord or Telegram, we store your account ID for those platforms and an access token so we can give you the right role.
You create: the picks you post, including any screenshot you upload. Bear in mind a slip screenshot may show your own account details, so crop anything you would not want stored.
We record automatically:pages visited, picks viewed and how you move through the site. Once you are signed in this activity is linked to you personally, not anonymised — see section 5.
We use your information to provide and improve VERD, process payments, send notifications about picks and subscriptions, and communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share the minimum necessary with the companies that run parts of VERD. Each has its own privacy policy.
These companies are located in, or store data in, the United States.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All communications are encrypted via TLS. Payment information is processed directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
When you subscribe to a creator, that creator can see your name and email address in their dashboard, and can export it. This is how they run their community and contact their subscribers, and it means your details are held by them as well as by us. They do not receive your payment details.
If you would rather a creator did not have your usual email address, use a different one when you sign up.
Essential. Sign-in and session cookies. The site cannot work without them.
Analytics. We use PostHog to see how the site is used. While you are signed out this is not tied to your identity; once you sign in it is linked to your account, including your email address and name. It is not anonymous or aggregate-only.
Advertising. We run the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on every page. It sets third-party cookies and reports back to Meta when someone visits, creates an account or starts a subscription, so we can measure whether our ads work. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
You can access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings. You can request a full export of your data or account deletion by contacting us.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Pick records and creator statistics are retained indefinitely as part of our verification system. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform.
